- that 1811 tax lists shows jacob davis and wm allender both owning 200+ acres of section 30 twp 2 range 3 in putney,
both men got the land from that daniel Mcelheron, i am digging into the history of pultney
my guess is Richard who married hannah davis, is Margaret and WM's brother, and that Wm allender is father or grandfather(which we already know) and Jacob is Hannah's father james Kelsey is also in the mix already in Pultney in 1811--that Jane Allender has to be Richard Allender's daughter, he is the only Allender in Guernsey in 1840 with a daughter 15-20, which would probably make her likley to marry in 4 years, not sure why she didnt sign that deed like the other siblings but seems we are missing 2 of Richard's girls, and if Alexander(1825-?) was Richard's (1810-1854)oldest son ,then maybe he was named after Richard's father.the neighbor Alexander Allender, on 1840 guernsey census,by wm allender and george lashley and jacob Anthony,is the elder brother to Richard (1810-1854) named after their father and maybe that is why the death cert states Alexander and hannah davis on Nancy Vandyke's death cert bc the informant was confusing Richard who died in 1854, with her grandfather or uncle Alexander? or Alexander Allender could still be Richard's elder brother and named after father Alexander Allender (that we dont have a record of) and 2 of his girls were playingwith their cousins the day of the Census!!
Their children William Greenlee Allender, Louisa Allender, Joseph Kinger? cant read it but appears he was married to Mary Allender, and Richard and Elizabeth Allender were minors with jonathon watson bc guardian of, there is all guardianship records but i have to request them, witness Philip Jarvis and Henderschott(?)
i have land transactions from 1820-i think the first survey in Ohio until 1870
Richard Allender purchased in 1820 issued grant in 1831,
his heir Alexander Allender rec'd the property in 1854 from Jonathon Watson ( i think Executor of Estate) then it went to George Lashley (Margaret's husband) in 1864 from Jonathon Watson (again Executor but same acreage and Plat ) then to Phillip Lashley in 1870 from George, (Phillip was Margaret's son) --so Richard Allender father --the other people are Reiner, Mary allender married Joseph reiner, the other deeds i have are from1860 john Reiner to William G allender then 1863 William G allender to john Reiner and that is the plot next to the richard/jonathon watson plot --this doc is dated april 5 1854 and it appears wm and louise signed in noble county--alexander was probably margarets brother, he was about the same age as her, anyway all i know now is that alexander and richard allender of noble county gave land to jonathon watson, jonathon watson recorded these land transactions on the same day, he also recorded that day land from pike county which is SW and hocking county which is SW but not adjacent to pike, noble, belmont, or guernsey,
richard allender was married to hannah allender in this deed i will try and pull out the other children also richard and hannah allender's let me try and transcribe these margaret and Alexander children???
Richard allender and heirs to jonathon watson and alexander allender to jonathon watson and jonathon watson, jonahton watson also got land from jacob anthony and it was recorded with the other lands, and the administrator was john and susan crawford,
the land was originally Hocking county and pike county, not sure i have to read everything but Hocking county, pike county and noble county are all intertwined with watson, crawford, jarvis, allenders, atherton? cant read and anyway that same land ended up from jonathon watson to george lashley margaret's husband
i just got back from the FHC and it is the richard and hannah allender group i have all the land records to phillip lashley it came from the william greenlee allender,
this is the same piece of property, actually processed in reverse order (i put last first) i have transcribed them all,
some reason Jacob Anthony had the land E 1/2 SE Twn 32 Section 8 range 7, containing 72 acres and 45/100 of an acre in noble county, Beaver Township,
then he gave the land to jonathon watson, 11 april 1854,
then on 5th april 1854,Richard Allender heirs gave the same land to Jonathon Watson,
28 march Alexander Allender and wife Susanna gave the land to Jonathon Watson,
need to find out who jonathon watson is!
this doc is dated april 5 1854 and it appears wm and louise signed in noble county
richard and hannah allender's let me try and transcribe these
