    • 25. Francis Allender, 1840-1918
      The U. S. Census of 1850 shows that Jacob Allender (6) had a son Francis, then aged nine years. This son was born on Nov. 26, 1840 according to his tombstone. He was a laborer, resided in Salisbury Twp. and about 1868 married Emma Strunk, who was born on July 17, 1851 and died in 1934 or 1935. They had four children. Francis Allender died on July 17, 1918. He, his wife and sons William, Alfred and B. Frank are buried together in St. Mark's Cemetery in Allentown.
      The sons, daughter and other known descendants of Francis and Emma Strunk Allender are shown by Table V. --Rinkenbach, p. 18-19.
