    • 45. George Israel Daniel Allender, 1852-
      This son of George Allender (9) and his second wife, Maria Bauscher, was born on Nov. 14, 1852 [27. Records of Jordan Reformed Chruch, Whitehall Twp.]. The Census of 1870 gives his age as 18 years. The Allentown directory for 1873/4 shows that he then was a laborer residing in Allentown. Subsequent city and county directories to 1915 do not list him, although it has been said that he was a resident about 1908, was married and had a son and a daughter. The name of his wife has not been learned. No record of his death has been found, nor his place of burial. By process of elimination it is concluded that the son may have been the William Allender who was a naval gunner. If so, George Allender has the descendants shown by Table VI. --Rinkenbach, p. 24.
